Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs

All-terrain pushchair with light weight and excellent maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold means it's easy to transport and also freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a nearly flat position, and there's a huge storage bin and canopy. Baby-friendly? Yes, with an additional carrycot.

A well-constructed suspension and air-filled tires will help you navigate through rough terrain. You can also use it to jog. However, you must wait until your baby is at minimum 6 or 9 months old.

Ickle Bubba Air

This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is an excellent option for parents looking for an easy-to-use buggy that has enhanced features. It is a travel system, which includes a lie-flat carrycot suitable for infants, a multi-position forward and rear facing pushchair as well as a choice of a group 0+ car seat, meaning you can get everything you need in one place.

The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to comprehend why it's earned such high marks from its customers. It's extremely light - the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg and it's super-easy to build. In fact I was able put it up and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty impressive considering it included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!

It has a nice wide, comfortable seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is very easy to operate. The basket is spacious with plenty of space and I find it nice that the handle bar comes with a pocket to keep your phone and keys secure.

The handlebar is low, which may be an issue for parents who are taller. It's covered in a soft, comfortable leather-like material that is easy to wipe down.

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for athletic parents who can't wait to go outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels can be used on forest and field trails. The front wheel can be locked and can be rotated for added versatility. The stroller also comes with 5-point safety harness with a front bar to keep your child safe during every trip. The parking brake keeps the stroller stationary while you rest. The seat can be adjusted to a laying position and the canopy can be opened maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate the needs of dad or mum.

Whether you're going for short jogs or a long hike, the Runner is ready to join you on all your adventures with a fully-flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that promise smooth, safe ride. The front wheel can be locked for more stability when walking on narrow streets or busy sidewalks. The stroller can also be folded up to fit into car boot spaces and storage spaces.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also the locking system (requiring two buttons either on either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebar is higher than some competitors which means it might not be suitable for parents with shorter arms, but overall this is an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller worthy of consideration for families with active kids.

Red Kite Push Me moving

Red Kite's Pace is a great product from the cost-effective British brand. They are renowned for their clean, well-designed products that are essential to parents. It's the newest - and priciest - product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller range and like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible so you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace features some stunning design features such as a rose-gold shade on the hood, chassis, and stroller trims that truly distinguish it from. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are fashionable and there's the option of adding a co-ordinating handle for the cover and bumper bar as well.

The stroller seat can be used from birth to a maximum weight of 22kg. It easily converts into a reversible 2-in-1 position, either parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat comes with several lie-back positions, plus soft padded legs rests, and an extended sun canopy with concealed zip sections and a transparent flap, and a retractable visor.

When folded, the Pace measures 56 inches x 43cm and 32 inches, which allows it to be used as hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair.  3 wheeler pushchair 's also a breeze to fold down, using two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side which just click in and pop up.

Bugaboo Fox 5

The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain pushchair, Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter wheel-distance makes it more agile than its predecessor. I tested it with my two kids eight weeks old and a toddler - on rocky roads, grassy wooded walks and even cobblestones.

The puncture-proof wheels are huge in size - 22cm and a whopping 30cm - which means they can handle lots of different terrains.  3 wheel pushchair  have a handy flap that opens or closes to let more air to enter if you need it and is a nice touch. It is a little bigger than most pushchairs, but it does not feel heavy or bulky when pushing it across bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat is machine washable, and the frame and faux leather grips are simple to wipe down. It's also much quieter than some pushchairs, and I felt comfortable using it in busy city streets. It has built-in accessory points that allow you to attach parasols and footmuffs and also changing bags, snack trays, and even snack tray. The hood can be used to block out rain and wind, but it's not waterproof. It's a single pram, but you can add their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child a bit of legroom. It took around 20 minutes to assemble the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it to the seat.

Its large basket is big enough to hold your market finds and all of your baby's essentials while the large canopy provides sun and wind protection. The canopy's large front opens to reveal two peekaboo windows that allow you to observe your baby's surroundings.

The Ridge's reversible seating allows you to choose whether your child is facing you or the world ahead. Its simple foot brake system makes it easy for parents who are new. The reversible handlebar is a fantastic feature that lets you adjust it to your height. The Ridge's fold, unlike many strollers for jogging, is sturdy and self-standing when folded.

iCandy Core

iCandy’s new pushchair has many features that will be awe-inspiring to parents. It comes with a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a revolutionary LED Visibility Hub Light that is an innovation for the industry. It has an integrated Ride-on Board that saves on future costs and lets tired toddlers accompany their parents when they go on excursions.

The Core is available as an entire travel system or as a single seat. It is compatible with the most popular car seats, such as the ones from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It is the largest seat unit in the iCandy line, so you can use it for your baby's first year and beyond. Like all iCandy pushchairs, it's luxuriously constructed and comes with high-end knitted jersey fabrics. The adjustable handlebar for parents and child's removable bumper bar are made of soft leatherette, while the fold-away calf support is also extremely comfortable for children.

It was impressive how easily it collapsed and folded, even with the seat unit still attached. It fits easily in your boot or hallway which makes it perfect to travel with. The iCandy Core comes with lots of additional accessories, including a colour matching changing rucksack and a footmuff/liner.
